How a bag becomes a certificate

Four steps. Nothing here runs on a clock: every step happens when the one before it lands on chain.

Step one

Name the bag

Pick a coin you hold and the amount. The site shows you the vault address this certificate will use before you send anything.

Step two

One transaction

Your tokens go to that vault, 0.01 SOL pays for the packing, and a memo carries the certificate number.

Step three

The sheet is struck

The keeper sees the deposit and mints you a Metaplex Core certificate with the coin, the amount and the vault printed on it.

Step four

Sell it or burn it

Sell the certificate on Tensor or Magic Eden and the bag changes hands with no trade on the coin. Burn it and the vault pays the tokens to whoever burned it.

Why the chart never moves

Selling a big bag on the curve is a print on the chart and a dent in the price. Selling the certificate is a sale of an NFT: the tokens never leave the vault, no swap happens, and the coin's chart does not know the bag changed owner.

The buyer gets the sheet. When they want the coins, they burn the sheet and the vault pays them out.

What you are trusting

The tokens are held by a keeper wallet, not by a program. Each certificate gets its own vault, derived from a master secret that lives only in the keeper's environment, so one vault is one bag and nothing is pooled.
